Pastoral Relations Task Force
The General Board has a Pastoral Relations Task Force for each of its ministers. The primary function of these task forces is to maintain a liaison with the pastors and their families so that effective communication between the pastors and families and the congregation is maintained.
Four members of the congregation shall compose a Pastoral Relation’s Task Force for each of the pastors. Each pastor shall submit to the moderator a list of candidates to fill vacancies on their task force as they occur.
Bi-annually, as of January 1, in odd numbered years, two members of the congregation shall be appointed by the moderator, each for a four year term on each of the Pastoral Relations Task Forces.
The members of each task force will, from among the members, select their leader.
