What to Expect on Your First Visit

Where to park

You can access the parking lot from Blue Ridge Blvd. (6100 block) or from Raytown Rd. (north of the library). You may park anywhere in the lot, but don't miss the designated Guest parking near the main entrance.

Where to go

The main entrance is close to Blue Ridge Blvd. One of the entrances has a ramp. A greeter just inside the door will welcome you, offer a visitor packet, and answer any questions you have.

"Being greeted at the door was great." -- Testimonial from a recent visitor

What to wear

Jeans and shirt, or coat and tie, you'll find others dressed as you are at our church. We're just glad you came.

What do I do with my kids?

Children are welcome in the worship services. Look for the packets of crayons and coloring sheets related to that day's sermon! Additionally, for the convenience of parents, we have a nursery for children through 4 years of age and Sunday school for kids older. Even the 4-year olds have Sunday School class at 9:30a.m. The 10:45 service offers a special opportunity... 10 minutes into the service the children are invited forward to sit on the steps for a Children's Moment (most of the kids sit with a Sunday School teacher on the front pew until this time). Following the Children's Moment, all children are invited to follow the adult sponsors up to the education wing for the Rotation Model Sunday School experience.

What time

  • 8:15 AM Traditional worship service in the sanctuary
  • 9:30 AM Contemporary praise service in the fellowship hall
  • 10:45 AM Traditional worship service in the sanctuary

Adult Sunday school is offered at all those times. The primary children and youth Sunday School program is at 10:45.
